This will involve taking a history of your problem together with any relevant medical history. Details of previous treatments, related injuries and information about daily activities may also be taken. A thorough biomechanical examination and assessment will then be carried out to determine the clinical diagnosis of your problem.Following this, we will discuss your treatment options and advise you on the most appropriate course of treatment. You can expect to be given an individually tailored home exercise program, lifestyle advice and an indication of the number of treatments you may require and the likely timescale for resolution of the problem. Follow up appointments will then be made.
Please wear clothing you are comfortable in that will allow us to examine the affected area. If we need to examine your hip or leg, you may prefer to bring shorts with you.
