Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability.

Physiotherapy is a science-based profession.  Physiotherapists take a holistic approach, looking at the body as a whole rather than focusing on the individual factors of an injury or illness. At the core is the patient’s involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their treatment.

At Able we will look at your individual situation. As well as treating the problem, we may also suggest things you can do on a daily basis to help relieve your pain and discomfort and improve your general wellbeing. We may also give you advice about how to prevent the injury re-occurring.

You can benefit from physiotherapy at any time in your life. At Able we treat people of all ages. We use a number of methods to manage pain, aid recovery and prevent injuries.
